How can I remove the smell of mothballs from my "new" vintage white leather bag?
Both the lining and the leather smell really – will Outside I can use or something? Tho Stock otherwise spotless very old and used!
This process works well to absorb the majority smells like balls, mothballs, smoke, mold, etc. You will need: A plastic container with a lid, like a cat litter Rubbermaid newspaper Spread a good layer tray of sand in the bottom of the box. Place a layer of newspaper on top of litter and place the piece of bad smell from the top newspaper. Close the lid and acting for a couple of days. The litter absorbs odors. You may have to replace the bin with fresh bedding and repeat the process several times. Make sure your portfolio is Open. And as someone has suggested a good polish can be applied. Hope this helps.
