What is the best way to paint a chrome toilet paper holder?
Just painted my bathroom and all trim (towels counters, mirror frame, light switches, power, air blower, tiles, etc.) are nice and black … except by the owner roll of toilet paper, which is chrome. is really ugly, and I would have to match the rest of the room. Extraction is not an option because it is more or less cemented in the wall, so I like to paint on chrome and make it white, like everything else but I'm not sure what the best way to do it. What type of paint should I use? Do I need priming? Should I sand by the owner of toilet paper first? Any advice appreciated, Thanks! Please note: I can not remove. It is literally founded on the wall and it would be a waste huge, huge to eliminate, not to mention it would putty, poly-fill, sand and repaint the entire wall if I did. I do not want to delete, I want to paint it. Thank you! 
First role. Two layers if possible. Then spray paint. I made mine with a hammer finish spray paint. It lasted 10 years. People surprised when I tell them is the paint.
