How can I make red shoes without ruining the leather shoes black?

I have a pair of shoes that are red I used to work, but I can only wear black shoes to work. They are leather and I want to dye it black. I do not use paint or anything of bad taste, it seems they were destined to be black.

Unless you have already given a shoe repair professional you will not be able to. In reading the other answers, it seems that nobody has main answer is that they must be washed back the color of the original leather. Professionals, basically, you must remove all red dye first. You can then dye it black. Otherwise, say that you use black shoe polish on the real red, the result will be a waste of Nice. Try to find someone to repair shoes that actually works in leather or request that he / she will give you a reference in your city. Good luck!
