How many sets of tires can be an engine for the Indianapolis 500 have in the mouth during the race?
I remember reading some thing on seven sets of tires are allowed in the pits. Remember that this race will be called at least 6-7 stops, and most of the time, fuel and tires will be. Some of these devices is removed (a few times) and some are stickers (brand new – with sticker still on its surface). If I can find my source, I'll update this posting accordingly.
