it would be easier to become a jet pilot or a military helicopter pilot Apache?
I know that both are very difficult to get, I'm just wandering is easier. So when I was 16 I had a charge of drug possession offense of weeds, now is my memory, but I know that the military can have access to anything, if you want, how do hard to achieve my dream.
Jeremy For aircraft flying in the Air Force, Navy, Marines must have a college degree to even apply 4. The army American Flight Warrant Officer Program is open to graduates of high school and college. It is a very competitive and not all those to apply is selected. In fact, many are addressed and fully qualified FQNS classified unselected. I know many Army aviators applied several times and some of them took 3-5 years before it in. You can also register as a regular soldier and apply to flight school in the ranks, but the possibilities are really no better. Increasing your class standing most of your options. (If I a young guy, he is brand new and all the Apache is a good airplane, I would choose the Kiowa Warrior program or ARH (now that the Commanche dead)). As for the future once you're an aviator who flies Army helicopters 5-9 years before meeting the requirements for fixed wing aircraft. Army operates a fleet of relatively large fixed-wing aircraft in the area of Army intelligence and the carriers of people (sorry, non-combatants). If you're really good, a number of Army aviators are selected to attend the Navy Test Pilot course and yes, they fly fighters. In fact, some years ago the commander of the Test Pilot School at Pax River Naval, Virginia was an Army aviator. In addition, airmen of the army have been selected as a mission specialist by NASA for the shuttle program.
