George swatted Grace up side the head
Grace bit my toe in passing
I yelled,
OUCH!
Heed me well, you kittyphiles
Before you take this trip
Should you have a George or Grace
Please, forgo catnip.

I love the the term ‘thundering herd of lions’ – far more effective than the usual ‘pride of lions’ it conjures up images of the Serengeti (to me) with hundreds of lions charging across like wildebeest….how much can be in just a couple of words.
I think the fourth verse should also rhyme (just a little)
