Whats the best way to break in my new half chaps?
i just got new half chaps and they’re SO tight and uncomfortable. ( im actually debating weather there the right size or not cuz there so tight) I can hardly zip them up. do you think there too small? because they lady at the store said they were good..
They are not too small because they are made to stretch just like clothes, you just need to break them in first.
Take them and fold them and just bend them a lot to loosen them up (do this a lot)
Wear them around your house and just bend your knees as you walk so that one knee is touching the ground and the other is making a 90 degree angle(they will get used to the way your leg will bend when in the saddle) and ride in them too
If you need to don’t zip them all the way up until they stretch a little.
You can do ankle exercises (stand on a stair or fire place step thing and sink your weight to your heels like when your foot is in a stirrup)
The more you wear them the more they will break in…good luck(:
